About Us:
Sky-Life Foundation Inc. (SLF) is a tax exempt charity under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. SLF is conducting this raffle in an effort to raise funds to operate our programs which helps disadvantaged children and teaches them how to fly. The rules and regulations of the SLF raffle are set forth below. By purchasing a raffle ticket (which is not tax deductible) the purchaser agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations. SLF interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.
Selection of Winner:
The SLF raffle will start of Wednesday October 1, 2008 and a winning ticket will be drawn on Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 12:00PM from any and all eligible raffle entries. Winner does not need to be present to win. Winner will be notifed by phone or U.S. Postal Service according to contact information provided to SLF at the time of ticket purchase.
Winning Odds:
The odds of winning will depend on the number of tickets sold. There are 1,200 tickets available for purchase. If all tickets are sold then the odds are 1 in 1,200.
Eligibility:
Anyone eighteen (18) years of age or older may purchase tickets to enter the raffle. All federal, state and local laws and reglations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Prize:
The prize is a 1980 Cessna 152II with a value of $25,750.00 US dollars. If fewer than 900 tickets are sold as of 5:00PM on Tuesday December 30, 2008 EST, the winner will receive 50% of the net raffle proceeds. Net proceeds are defined as the balance of funds after paying all raffle expenses and expenses for the airplane. Net proceeds will be divided evenly between SLF and the raffle winner. At the option of SLF, the end date of the raffle MAY be extended for up to three (3) additional one (1) month periods. |
